The Backline Company was founded with a simple belief: the instruments and performance equipment behind an artist deserve the same level of planning, preparation and care as any other critical part of a production.
In live entertainment, small details can shape the entire show. A missing stand, an untested amplifier, a poorly matched keyboard setup or a drum kit that does not feel right can slow soundcheck and affect artist confidence. Our work is built around preventing those moments before they reach the stage.

Vinay Sharma founded The Backline Company with the belief that professional backline should be prepared with the same discipline and precision expected from every other critical part of a live production.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience in the live-events industry, he has worked closely with artists, technicians and production teams to understand what matters on show day: suitable equipment, meticulous preparation, responsive technical support and dependable execution.
Today, he leads The Backline Company with a clear purpose: to set the benchmark for professional backline rental and touring support across India.
