The role

What you'll help create.

The Photographer documents real production work without interrupting it. You will move between warehouse preparation, dispatch, venue setup, soundcheck, performance and recovery, creating accurate visual evidence of how The Backline Company works. The role requires strong low-light event photography, calm judgement around artists and crews, disciplined file handling, and careful attention to permissions, credits and factual captions.

Responsibilities

  • Photograph warehouse preparation, equipment inspection, packing and dispatch
  • Document venue load-ins, stage builds, soundchecks, performances and load-outs
  • Create clear equipment, technician and production-detail photographs for The Collection, Production Support, On the Road and The Handbook
  • Work unobtrusively around artists, technicians, production managers and venue teams
  • Follow artist, promoter, venue and production photography permissions at every assignment
  • Record accurate production context, image credits and caption information while details are available
  • Select, colour-correct, crop and export consistent image sets for web, editorial, social and archival use
  • Maintain organised originals, selects, usage-rights records, backups and searchable file naming
  • Deliver urgent show selections when agreed without compromising the complete production archive
  • Protect confidential riders, backstage activity and unreleased production information
