We do not have to replace your existing equipment. Discuss specialist models, rider gaps or additional capacity for productions that exceed your internal resources.

Share what you can supply, including exact models, configurations and accessories. Mark artist-carried items and identify the gaps. A mixed package needs the same care as a complete rental: agree compatibility, condition checks, approved substitutions and who prepares and supports each item.

For specialist or hard-to-source requests, send the exact rider and acceptable alternatives early. An enquiry is not a confirmation that a particular model can be supplied.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a sound company outsource only part of its backline requirement?

Yes. The Backline Company can supplement existing inventory, fulfil specific rider gaps or support an agreed part of a production. Share the equipment you already have and the artist rider so availability, compatibility, preparation and responsibilities can be confirmed.

Can The Backline Company work directly with our production team rather than our client?

Yes, subject to the communication structure agreed for the production. We can coordinate with your designated production contact. Define client ownership, communication channels, confidentiality and any non-solicitation requirements before confirming the production.

Can you review an artist rider and identify what we are missing?

Yes. Send the current artist rider and your existing equipment list, including exact models, configurations and accessories. We can review the gaps and discuss a suitable backline scope. Proposed substitutions still need approval from the authorised artist representative.

Can you provide backline technicians without supplying the complete equipment package?

Discuss technician-only or partial-package support with us. Availability and suitability depend on the equipment, required skills and production schedule. Agree preparation, handover, setup, changeover and show-support responsibilities before confirming crew coverage; technicians are not automatically included with every arrangement.

Do you support sound and production companies outside Mumbai?

Yes. The Backline Company is Mumbai-based and supports productions across India. Share the cities, venues, dates and routing so equipment availability, crew coverage and logistics can be scoped. Transportation is quoted separately.
